BLOG UPDATES – May 2016 3 DONATIONS RECEIVED St Mary’s Diocesan School for Girls very generously gave us the money to purchase a new Microwave so that we could place the other one in our cottage for use by volunteers from overseas who will be helping at the home later in the year. NEW ARRIVALS Over the past several months we have welcomed another two baby girls to the Hope House family. With our recent adoptions, we are left with only girls who are an absolute delight. GET-AWAY Lynne & Sonia are extremely grateful to John and Lin Evans for affording us the opportunity to spend a wonderful long weekend at their flat in Umdloti. Several people have asked the question “Why the 2nd birthday when Hope House has been in operation for 9 years now?” Well, here is the explanation : In 2007 Sonia Swinton and Lynne Pieterse accepted the first baby into their care through New Hope Ministry, which was a ministry of the Pinetown Presbyterian Church, counselling women with unplanned pregnancies.
